Did the extended hiking trail past Sunday, track is beautifully marked, clean, awesome views from the top of the mountain, if you not hiking fit it could be quite tough, take enough water and good hiking shoes. 13,5 kms and 627 meter elevation

What a fantastic hiking venue! My family and I went on a midweek hike having contacted the host, Bertie, prior to arrival. They are quite strict with the amount of people they allow on the property during the day to ensure that social distancing is observed as well as guaranteeing that you can enjoy a peaceful and tranquil experience. The trails are beautifully maintained as well as being clearly marked. We did the Kiepersol hike which was perfect for a family with kids. My 10 year old coped quite easily and we completely the 4,6km route in 1,5 hours. My son was super chuffed with the medallion that he was presented with upon completion of our hike. I highly recommend this venue and look forward to returning soon to enjoy the longer trails without the kids in tow. I also can't wait to try Bertie's homemade burgers which we would have tried had we had enough time. We did get to sample some of the lovely fresh produce that he grows on the farm and is available for sale to the public...

A hidden gem for those who love being outdoors. To get the most out of this venue you need to be strong and of good health. We are both and loved out time on these trails.
